In order to apply for financial aid, students must complete:
Applicants are required to provide the name of Thomas Edison State University and the University's Federal School Code (011648) on page 6 of the FAFSA.
Students do not have to file a FAFSA if you have completed a "Renewal Notice" from the government or have previously completed a FAFSA for the current year at a different school. They must, however, make sure that the U.S. Department of Education knows of their intent to attend Thomas Edison State University.
Approximately four weeks after mailing the FAFSA, students should receive a "Student Aid Report" (SAR) from the U.S. Department of Education. Once the report is delivered, students should review it for accuracy.
Students who attended another college during the same year that they are applying for financial aid at Thomas Edison State University must request the financial aid office at the other college to complete a Financial Aid Transcript and have them mail it to Thomas Edison State University. A separate transcript must be requested from each institution that you have attended within the past year.
For additional information, contact the Office of Financial Aid at (609) 633-9658 or by email.
