Dr. Matusak was a pioneer in adult alternative education. From her work as one of the original board members of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), her accomplishments at the University of Evansville, where she created a new college designed for alternative education opportunities for the greater Evansville community, to her leadership at the University and throughout the higher education landscape, Dr. Matusak had a tremendous impact on generations of adult students.
