Biomedical Electronics
Prepare to innovate and lead in the biomedical electronics industry with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with an area of study in Biomedical Electronics from Thomas Edison State University (TESU). Our 120-credit program is designed for professional technicians who troubleshoot, repair and maintain biomedical equipment used in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare environments. How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: Students whose areas of study are not complete at the time of enrollment either use Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) or classroom work to complete their areas of study. A limited selection of general electronics courses is available by independent study and distance education courses and examination.
Note: Courses listed in the Area of Study are offered as a guide. Other courses may also be considered appropriate for the program. The inclusion of similar courses must be reviewed by the Evaluation team. Students must submit their program plan for review to ensure that course selection is appropriate for the degree.
