DSST Exams (formerly DANTES)

Please note that Thomas Edison State University awards credit for DSST examinations which have been reviewed and recommended for credit by the American Council on Education (ACE) for specific exhibit dates.

Prior to registering for an examination, students are urged to refer to the current DSST website to confirm that the examination they are interested in taking is still active and to confirm the number of credits being recommended for successful completion of the DSST examination: www.getcollegecredit.com.

Students who want more detailed information on the DSST program and study materials may contact:

Students who wish to have their score reports sent to Thomas Edison State University should provide the official University code, 9001, at the time of testing. The minimum score required to earn credit is equivalent to a letter grade of C, and scores resulting in credit recommendations will be posted on a Thomas Edison State University transcript as credit with no letter grade.

This exam list coincides with the January 2019 TESU catalog year and after. If you are in a previous catalog year, please contact Academic Advising to determine which exams are appropriate for your specific catalog year.
